Acorns 2 Little Oaks 552 Wigan Road Westhoughton BL5 2BX 01942 818334 Open Mon - Fri 7am - 6pm We are a private day nursery for children aged between 8 weeks and 5 years. We can accommodate 20 children on any one day. We are open 5 days a week 7am - 6pm for 51 weeks of the year. We pride ourselves on the quality of childcare we offer; as we are reasonably small we are able to ensure that all our children receive plenty of cuddles and attention that can be lacking in larger establishments. We have a healthy balance of fully qualified staff and students all of whom have up-to-date police checks. We are regulated by OFSTED and naturally adhere to all their guidelines. We have government funding for 3-4yr olds in our pre-school. We like to think of our nursery as an extension of your child's home, a place where they will feel happy, relaxed and free to express themselves. Parents are always made to feel welcome and their input is important to us after all nobody knows your children as well as you do! The children take part in a wide range of activities throughout the day such as painting cooking sewing and model making. We are situated next to Hart Common playing fields with play equipment and often take the children over there for a run around. We also visit stables and farms in the locality to feed the horses and see the animals. Drop in to see for yourself, we don't operate a closed door policy, no appointment is necessary - you are welcome at any time but please be aware the children take a nap between 12.30pm and 2pm.
